Paediatric Physiotherapy

Paediatric physiotherapy involves working with babies and children to address injuries or developmental concerns.

Infants are commonly seen for torticollis, which is muscle tightness in the neck leading to a head turning preference, as well as plagiocephaly, which is flatness of one side of the head. These conditions often go hand in hand and early assessment and treatment is crucial to decreasing the total treatment time required, as well as preventing future developmental and milestone delays.

Our Paediatric physiotherapist also works with older toddlers and children who have developmental delays, injuries and post-surgical needs.

Paediatric therapists work with the child and the family to ensure that we develop a comprehensive, realistic and patient-specific treatment plan for our little patients.
